Shorecrest's Stephanie van Gelder: Staying Organized, Making Time for Social Life
Since she was a little girl, Stephanie van Gelder knew the college she would attend: the same school where her parents studied. She is one of three van Gelder sisters in the Shorecrest Class of 2011.

Your inspiration: My sisters. Even though we’re the same age, they’ve become their own persons and have excelled at whatever they put their minds to. They are the kindest, most driven people I know, and together I know we can accomplish anything.
Secret to success: Staying Organized. If I wasn’t organized, there is no way I would have been able to keep track of all my activities and get my work done without having to sacrifice a social life.

College goal: In the fall, I will be attending Emory University. Both my parents went there, and it has been my dream school ever since I was a little girl.
