Skyway Bridge Accident Causes Backup For Monday Commuters
A crash involving a patrol car caused traffic tie-ups for morning commuters on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge Monday, Sept. 17.
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL -- A crash involving a patrol car caused traffic tie-ups for morning commuters on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge Monday, Sept. 17.
The crash occurred just after 6:30 a.m. and sent the driver of a patrol car to the hospital.
In addition to blocking the inside northbound lane of the bridge, a vehicle caught fire and the smoke reduced visibility for drivers.
