Sons Of The American Revolution Welcomed Jerald Hurwitz

SAINT PETERSBURG, FL - The Sons of the American Revolution Saint Petersburg Chapter welcomed Jerald Hurwitz at their General Membership, in person meeting on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 9:00am at the Saint Petersburg Yacht Club.

Jerald Hurwitz is the President of the Princeton Battlefield Society and author of Alamo of the Revolution: Benedict Arnold and the Massacre at Fort Griswold. Dressed as a British Army officer, Mr. Hurwitz gave a presentation about the actions of Benedict Arnold after he betrayed the American Revolution, and led British forces against the Americans at Fort Griswold in Connecticut.

The Chapter also inducted Robert C. Daley Sr., Colton Gross, Robert Gray, Jason Gray and Thomas Fry as new members. Sixteen people attended the meeting.

The Sons of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to enhancing education, promoting patriotism and preserving American history. Members of the Sons of the American Revolution can trace their lineage to a patriot who supported the cause of American Independence.
