Sons And Daughters of the American Revolution Hold Joint Meeting

SAINT PETERSBURG, FL - The Sons of the American Revolution Saint Petersburg Chapter and Daughters of the American Revolution Caravel Chapter held a joint General Membership in person meeting on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:30am at the Saint Petersburg Yacht Club. Forty-four people attended.

The joint meeting was structured with both Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution chapters reciting each organization's distinctive pledges and officers from both chapters presenting their reports.

The featured presentation was a video produced by the Daughters of the American Revolution in commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of American Independence, The Story of Stephen and Jesse Betts. The video exhibits their participation and struggles in the Revolutionary War.

The Sons of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to enhancing education, promoting patriotism and preserving American history. Members of the Sons of the American Revolution are men can trace their lineage to a patriot who supported the cause of American Independence. The Daughters of the American Revolution have the same goals, but is composed of women who can trace their lineage to a patriot who supported the cause of American Independence.
