Southeastern Guide Dogs' Walkathon Set for February
The annual event raises money for the internationally accredited guide dog school.

Organizers of an upcoming 3K event are hoping Tampa Bay area residents are up for helping a good cause and a few pairs of paws.
The Southeastern Guide Dogsâ Walkathon is set for Feb. 28 at St. Petersburgâs Viony Park. Sponsored by Publix, the annual event is the nonprofit organizationâs single biggest fundraiser of the year.
âOur 3K Walkathon appeals to the whole family, with a beautiful setting, food, music, and pet-friendly shopping,â Richard Campbell, walkathon chair, was quoted in a media release as saying. âBut what sets this Walkathon apart is the fact that you can bring your dog.â
