St. Pete Announces Presidents' Day Government Closings

St. Petersburg, FL -- During the Presidents' Day holiday week, Feb. 19 to 23, the only changes for trash and recycling pickup days for St. Petersburg residential customers are:

• Monday collections for garbage and recycling will be made on Tuesday.
• Tuesday collections will be Wednesday.
• In observance of the Presidents' Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 19, city government facilities will be closed including the St. Petersburg City Hall and Municipal Services Center downtown, Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, The Greenhouse, Coliseum, Enoch Davis Center, Jamestown Apartments and Townhomes Office, Dwight H. Jones Neighborhood Center, six community libraries, Sunken Gardens' business office and the Sunshine Center.
• Three golf courses (Mangrove Bay, Cypress Links and Twin Brooks)
• West Community Library at St. Petersburg College
• Mahaffey Theater at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts
• Municipal beach concession stand (Treasure Island)
• Municipal Marina Ship's Store
• North Shore Aquatic Complex
• Recreation centers including youth camp sites
• Sanitation Department brush sites
• Sunken Gardens' attraction
• West Community Library at St. Petersburg College Gibbs campus.
