St. Pete Home Invasion Leaves 1 Intruder Dead
Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. Sunday, June 24 at 4150 11th Ave. S.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. Sunday, June 24 at 4150 11th Ave. S.
According to police, three suspects forced their way into the house. The three brothers that live there were home and confronted the intruders.
One of the intruders, Cory D. McClendon, 35, was shot and died inside the home.

Additionally, two of the brothers were injured. Ackeem Marks, 25, is in critical but stable condition. Shaevaughn Mark, 20, is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. The third brother wasn’t injured.
Investigators do not believe this was a random act. The investigation continues.
