St. Pete Man Arrested In Fatal Shooting At Gas Station
St. Petersburg Police detectives have arrested a 28-year-old man accused in the shooting death of a man at the Pure Gas Station April 20.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Petersburg Police detectives have arrested a 28-year-old man accused in the shooting death of a man in the parking lot of the Pure Gas Station April 20.
Tyree Bingham of St. Petersburg has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Resnick Hampton Jr., 28.
He is also charged with two counts of attempted murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

According to St. Pete Police, around 1:30 a.m. April 20, an officer was sent to the gas station at 1301 Martin King St. S. for a report of gun fire.
Shortly afterward, three people were taken to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. Hampton died and the other two were treated for minor gunshots.

One of those treated for a graze wound, Christopher Hawkins, 47, was arrested on a warrant after he was treated.
