St. Pete Man Charged With DUI Manslaughter Following Fatal Crash

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man has been charged with vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter following a fatal crash Sunday night at 18th Avenue South and 22nd Street South.

According to St. Petersburg Police, at 9 p.m. a black Mazda 6 driven by Arttonyo Lee Jr., 23, was traveling east on 18th Avenue South when he ran a red light and crashed into a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Latoya Roundtree, 38.

Both Lee and Roundtree were transported to Bayfront Health St.Petersburg where Roundtree was pronounced dead.

Police said Lee showed signs of impairment. After obtaining results of a blood-alcohol test, he was charged with vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, possession of marijuana and violation of probation.
