St. Pete Man Charged With Killing Half-Brother

St. Petersburg Police have charged a 26-year-old man in the first-degree murder of his half-brother on Thursday, Oct. 4.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg Police have charged a 26-year-old man in the first-degree murder of his half-brother on Thursday, Oct. 4.

Police say Stevie Murph got into a physical altercation with his half brother, Antwan Hill, 29, at Murph's home at 2864 1st Ave. S. The fight began inside the house and continued onto the porch of the home where Hill was injured.

Hill was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say Murph got into a vehicle and fled the scene, only to crash a few blocks later in the 2500 block of 2nd Avenue South.
