St. Pete Man Sexually Battered Teen, Deputies Say
The 28-year-old was arrested Thursday for incidents that allegedly began two years ago involving a 13-year-old girl.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 28-year-old St. Petersburg man faces six counts of sexual battery and one count of lewd and lascivious molestation after Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies say he had inappropriate contact with a teenage girl.
According to the agency, Andrew M. Hernandez was brought into custody Thursday following and investigation into his relationship with a now 15-year-old girl. The investigation began earlier this month when the girl told family members about “inappropriate sexual activity (that) had taken place on multiple occasions with the suspect,” the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media.
The activity allegedly began when the girl was 13 and took place at various locations within the county.
