St. Pete Motorcyclist Dies In Accident On Park Street North

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A motorcyclist has died following a crash on Park Street North Wednesday.

At 5:49 p.m., a man was riding a 2006 Haley Davidson north on Park Street North. He stopped in the median lane for a southbound ambulance and locked up the rear brake, causing the motorcycle to go down on its left side near 28th Avenue North. The motorcycle then flipped over and the rider was ejected.

He was not wearing a helmet. He was transported to St Pete General in critical condition and then flown to Bayfront Health St Petersburg where he was died.

His name has not been released.
