St. Pete Pedestrian Killed In Accident Identified Month Later

The victim of a fatal pedestrian crash in St. Petersburg on Nov. 14 has finally been identified.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- The victim of a fatal pedestrian crash in St. Petersburg on Nov. 14 has finally been identified.

Richard Rofenhoch, 73, was killed on Madison Circle North and 4th Street North, but he carried no identification.

A St. Pete Police artist's rendering of Rofenhoch produced no results.

Then, on Dec. 15, an out-of-state relative called St. Petersburg Police after failing to hear from Rofenhoch for several weeks and police were able to make a positive ID.

Although originally from New York, Rofenhock moved to Florida about 10 years ago.
