St. Pete Police Investigate Fatal Shooting, Non-Fatal Shooting

St. Petersburg Police say a 58-year-old man was found shot in the street on 9th Place South Thursday, Oct. 18 at 8:30 p.m.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg Police say a 58-year-old man was found shot in the street on 9th Place South Thursday, Oct. 18 at 8:30 p.m.

Paramedics took Rodney Bascomb to the hospital where he died.

Police are investigating this as a homicide.

St. Pete Police are also investigating a shooting in the early-morning hours of Friday, Oct. 19, at 1518 28th St. N. A 38-year-old man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His name has not been released.
