St. Pete Police Investigating Body Found In Backyard Shed
St. Petersburg Police are investigating a report of the body of a woman found in a shed on 16th Avenue South.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg Police want to know why the body of a dead woman was in the backyard shed of a St. Petersburg home.
Neighbors of Angelo Dante Beckford, 40,of 524 16th Ave. S. reported to police that Beckford showed them the body of an unidentified woman in his shed Monday, April 30.
When police arrived, Beckford fled. Police caught him and discovered crack cocaine in his possession. They arrested him on drug charges and are now trying to determine who the dead woman is and if Beckford had anything to do with her death.

Beckford was recently released from prison, according to St. Petersburg Police spokeswoman Yolanda Fernandez.
