St. Pete Police Motorcycle Involved In Crash
St. Petersburg police are investigating a crash involving a police motorcycle unit near the intersection of Central Avenue and 19th Street.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg police are investigating a crash involving a police motorcycle unit near the intersection of Central Avenue and 19th Street North.
Officer Bobby Peters sustained minor injuries, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
It happened at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, as Peters was traveling west on Central Avenue. A WFD Health Management Services Ford van driven by Willoved Chery was heading south on 19th Street North. After stopping at the stop sign at 19th Street and Central Avenue, Chery proceded through the intersection and hit Peters' motorcycle.
