ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg Police are searching for a possible police impersonator.

Thursday night, March 22, a tall black man in a white police-style sedan made a traffic stop, asked for the driver for a driver's license and drove off.

However, this is not typical police procedure so police are warning residents that an impersonator may be on the prowl.
