Pinellas Deputies Search Empty Pond Near Home Of Accused Murderer
Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies are using a digger, K9 officers and metal detectors to search the mud of a now-drained retention pond.

KENNETH CITY, FL -- Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies are using a digger, K9 officers and metal detectors to search the mud of a now-drained retention pond at 71st Street North and 52nd Avenue North in Kenneth City today, Aug. 15.
The sheriff's office has not said why it is searching the site. However, the site is located near the former home of Jacobee Flowers who is accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend in 2012. The body of 17-year-old Morgan Martin was never found.
Flowers was indicted on murder charges in 2016.
