Missing St. Pete Mother, Son Found Safe In Hotel

​St. Petersburg Police detectives have found 28-year-old Sydney Wyatt and her 1-year-old son, Future Johnson, safe in a local hotel.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A missing mother and her 1-year-old son were found safe in a local hotel.

The Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert for 1-year-old Future Johnson and his mother, Sydney Wyatt, 28, after they were reported missing on Thursday, Oct. 4. The mother and son had been staying with Wyatt's grandmother near 15th Street North and 78th Terrace North. She left in a car with her son at 2:30 p.m. and hadn't been seen since.

The car Wyatt had borrowed turned up abandoned in Pinellas Park at 4 a.m. with the baby car seat and baby items still inside.
