St. Pete Police Seek Driver Who Crashed Stolen Car Into House

St. Petersburg Police are continuing to search for the person who drove a stolen car through a fence and crashed into a house.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg Police are continuing to search for the person who drove a stolen car through a fence and crashed into a parked car and exterior wall of a home at 3801 19th Ave. S.

Shortly after 10 p.m. Monday, the driver of a stolen Hyundai lost control of the car. The impact pushed the parked car into the wall of the house.

Only one person was home at the time and he was not injured.

The driver ran from the scene and has not been located.

The fire department checked the house and determined it to be structurally sound, so the resident will not be displaced.
