St. Pete Scooter Operator Dies From Injuries In Crash

The operator of a scooter that collided with a Community Cab has died of his injuries.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The operator of a scooter that collided with a Community Cab has died of his injuries.

On Monday, May 28, around 10:40 a.m., a cab driven by Sirelliott Roberts, 42, was traveling east on 22nd Avenue South and a scooter operated by Shedrick Clarkson, 54, was heading south on 19th Street South when Clarkson ran the stop sign and collided with the cab.

Clarkson was not wearing a helmet. He was transported to Bayfront Hospital where he died at 10:19 p.m. Wednesday.
