St. Pete Woman Accused Of Shooting At Car With Kids Inside

A St. Petersburg woman has been charged with six counts of attempted murder after firing a gun into car with two women and four kids inside.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A St. Petersburg woman has been charged with six counts of attempted first-degree murder after firing a gun into car with two women and four children inside.

One bullet struck a 5-year-old boy in the leg. The injury was not life-threatening.

According to St. Petersburg Police, Jamesha Lyneet Flanning, 27, of 1131 32 Ave. S. is accused of firing several times into the car of a woman who drove Flanning's ex-girlfriend to her home to pick up some belongings on Feb. 11 at 5:45 p.m. There were four children ages 4 months to 7 years old inside the car.
