St. Petersburgh Police Department: Shooting Investigation
This morning a possible suspect is in custody after SPPD received a call at 11:08 p.m., on September 17, 2021, police said.

This morning a possible suspect is in custody after SPPD received a call at 11:08pm on September 17, 2021, with a report that one person was shot in the 1700 block of Granville Court S.
Officers arrived and found Barbarajean Lombardi (DOB 12/23/2002) and Tommy Dixon (DOB 08/07/2000) deceased from apparent gunshot wounds at 1738 Granville Court S.

The possible suspect (who is known to at least one of the victims) fled the scene, and was arrested a few hours later on unrelated charges.
The investigation into the shootings is underway and homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to contact us at 727-893-7780 or an anonymous text can be sent by texting the letters "SPPD" and your tip to TIP411.

The two victims, a man and a woman, are deceased in a house at 1738 Granville Ct. S.
Investigators are interviewing witnesses. A suspect has not been arrested.
