Kids and Kubs President Ed Brooms reminds senior softball prospects that Summer ball is continuing at the North Shore diamond in St Petersburg, where veteran players assemble for batting practice and "pick-up" scrimmages occurring Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Batting practice begins at 9:30, AM.followed by live game action.

Broomes noted that the "Summer Ball" session is open to all at no cost and is an excellent chance for future players to work out before attending the Tryout session planned for mid-September or October. Invitations will be limited to interested female and male players contacting President Ed Broomes.

Male and Female players are welcome players under the age of 74, although not eligible for Club membership, are encouraged to participate in the Summer Ball sessions. Information is available by calling Ed Broomes at 727-271-2025
