Sunrise Rotary To Hear Fostering Hearts on Tuesday, April 27th.

St. Petersburg Sunrise Rotary Club will hear from a speaker representing Fostering Hearts on Tuesday, April 27th. Rotary meets at 7:30 AM every Tuesday at the Saint Petersburg Yacht Club, 1 Central Ave. Fostering Hearts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young people who are in the child welfare system and those who have aged out of foster care build a brighter future. Assisting these students has been dear to both Sunrise and Impact Rotary. This is a great organization sounds as if it could be like Brookwood, which had been supported for many years by The St. Pete Sunrise Club
Do not forget that you can help make this year's S4TL seminar the best by participating in one of their Rap Sessions (and you don’t have to walk up hill in the snow)! We also need a volunteer to drive Shirley, our Club's representative, to and from the event in Lakeland, FL.
Guy Macarios is the latest member of the St Pete Sunrise Rotary Club. Guy has joined us at a few meetings, an evening social event, and TWO Service Projects! He and his wife, MJ, will be great additions to our club!

A small group of Rotarians attended the Music Bingo Social last week at 3 Daughters, but they rocked, capturing 2 victories
The Club has a profoundly moving presentation planned for next Tuesday, May 5. Harry Heumann will discuss the St. Pete Holocaust Museum and his personal connection to the horrific events it commemorates.
