Teen Accused of Capital Sexual Battery on 4-Year-Old
Pinellas County deputies say he knew the child.
A 15-year-old St. Petersburg boy has been charged with capital sexual battery.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives say they launched an investigation Thursday when they talked with the girl about an unrelated issue. The victim told deputies the teen had sexually battered her on two separate occasions within the past two weeks while she was in his care, an email to media stated.
When questioned, the email said, the teen admitted to the accusations.

He now faces one count of capital sexual battery on a child under 5.
