ST. PETERSBURG - Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and St. Petersburg Police Chief Chuck Harmon will speak Wednesday at the 24th Annual Pinellas County Law Enforcement Memorial Observance.

Three city officers who died in the line of duty in 2011 will be honored: Sgt. Thomas Baitinger, K9 Officer Jeffrey Yaslowitz and Patrol Officer David Crawford. The observance takes place at 10 a.m. at the Memorial Park, directly west of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Administration Building at 10750 Ulmerton Rd., Largo.

Leaders and rank-and-file members of law enforcement agencies at the local, state and federal level will attend, as well as local elected officials.

The annual Memorial Observance remembers those in Pinellas County law enforcement who have died in the line of duty since 1905. The names of the three fallen St. Petersburg officers have been added to the memorial monument, and will be acknowledged.

In addition to the slated speakers, the event will feature a roll-call of those 23 law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty in Pinellas County since 1905.

There will be a wreath laying at the Memorial stone, as well as "Taps", a 21-gun salute and the traditional bagpipe rendition of "Amazing Grace" by the Dunedin Highlanders Pipe Band from Dunedin High School.
