Hooters Offshore Nationals
Clearwater is the place for adrenaline junkies Sept. 27-29 as the 2019 Hooters Clearwater Offshore Nationals presented by Visit St. Pete/Clearwater races into town. Events kick off Friday with the Race Village and a boat parade and block party from 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in downtown Clearwater. There will be a chance to meet the drivers, contests, games, prizes, vendors and live entertainment.
Saturday the Race Village continues and events move to Clearwater Beach with entertainment and fireworks. Then on Sunday, Sept. 29, races take place at noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. For tickets and information, click here.

Rocky Horror Picture Show Live
The Rocky Horror Picture Show Live will be presented Friday at 11 p.m. at the Iberian Rooster, 475 Central Avenue, Suite 100, St. Petersburg. The cost is $5.
Join the live cast of Hell on Heels as they bring "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" to the Sub Central Speakeasy in Iberian Rooster. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. and dressing up is highly encouraged.

Tampa Bay Cure Search Walk
The ninth annual Tampa Bay Cure Search Walk will take place Saturday, Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. at Walter Fuller Park, 7891 26th Ave. N., St. Petersburg.
Teams and individuals are invited to walk to raise funds to advance promising new children's cancer research and celebrate the kids who beat cancer.

Artist Meet-And-Greet
Sparkman Wharf, 615 Channelside Drive, Tampa will host an artist meet-and-greet with live painting Saturday, Sept. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Sparkman Wharf has partnered with CASS, a local art gallery focusing on modern, collectible art pieces from local, regional, national and international artists, to bring artwork to Sparkman Wharf.
Artists will include Brooklyn artist Adam Fu and BASK of Tampa.
There will be live painting from 4 to 5 p.m. and a meet-and-greet at the Fermented Reality Biergarten from t to 7 p.m. with a limited-edition print signing by BASK and Fu, with 50 complimentary prints from each artist, one per person while supplies last.
Fall Festival At Hyde Park Village
Hyde Park Village will host its fall festival to benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the village, 804 S. Village Circle, Tampa. There will be activities, a pumpkin patch, live music, food ad craft brews by J.J. Taylor.
Fall Family Fest
Hunter Law, P.A., will present a Fall Family Fest Sunday, Sept. 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Water Works Park, 1710 W. Highland Ave., Tampa. The free fest will feature food trucks, vendors, games, character visits, a splash pad, dog park, free children's books and free laser tag.
Spook-A-Thon
The Concourse will kick off its Spook-A-Thon Halloween with the Spooky Train and Spooky Trail Sept. 27-28, and every Friday and Saturday in October as well as Sunday, Oct. 27.
The Grand Concourse Railroad club has designed a miniature train ride which winds past the spine-tingling morgue, the loony asylum, and other creepy creations.
The Spooky Trail haunted walking path through the woods will feature animated special effects, live actors and chilling surprises.
Hours are from 5 to 7:15 p.m. for the daylight train for younger kids. The Spooky Train and Spooky Trail will run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $6 each for entry to either the Spooky Train or Spooky Trail or $10 for both. Tickets are available at the gate only. Credit cards are accepted. Children 12 months and younger are admitted free. Food concessions will be provided for purchase by the West Pasco Sertoma Club.
The Spook-A-Thon is located at The Concourse, 11919 Alric Pottberg Road in Shady Hills, just west of the Suncoast Parkway on State Road 52. The Concourse is a private nonprofit venue.
Scream-A-Geddon
Back for its fifth year of horror, Scream-A-Geddon, set deep within the haunted woods at 27839 Saint Joe Road in Dade City, offers thrills seekers the chance to explore Rage 3D, Demons Revenge, Blackpool Prison, Deadwoods and Infected: Ground Zero β if they dare.
For an additional charge, intrepid guests can also try their hand at defeating an army of zombies in the Zombie Paintball Assault.
New this year is Bozo's Beer Garden. A horrific version of Bozo the clown will serve guests craft beers from breweries throughout Tampa Bay. Those age 21 and up can share a brew with Bozo's bar buddies: Bobo, Icky and Chuckles.
The Monster Midway features midway games, hot and cold drinks, grilled, fried and baked foods and fire pits to set the mood, a Scream-A-Geddon gift shop, caricature artists and more.
Scream-A-Geddon is open on select dates in September, including Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 and 28 from 7:30 p.m. to midnight, and then every day from Oct. 1 to Nov. 1.

Howl-O-Scream
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will host the 20th anniversary of its seasonal haunted house thriller, Howl-O-Scream. Thrill seekers can check it out Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28.
Howl-O-Scream 2019 unearths long-buried icons of the past as well as new nightmares as Busch Gardens Tampa Bay celebrates "20 Years of Fear" with horrifying haunted houses, terrifying scare zones and thrilling roller coaster rides through the dark.
Howl-O-Scream is a separately ticketed event, available during 22 select nights at Busch Gardens through Nov. 2 from 7:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Single-night tickets start at $39.99 and unlimited admission for all 22 nights of Howl-O-Scream is available starting at $79.99.

Taste Of The Beaches
Taste of the Beaches benefiting Habitat for Humanity will take place Saturday, Sept. 28 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Horan Park, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive, St. Pete Beach.
Taste of the Beaches celebrates great music and food with local bands and offerings from more than 20 restaurants and vendors. more than 20 area restaurants and vendors. CeCe Tenal and Soul Kamotion will perform. Food and beverage tickets are available to purchase at the event for $1 a piece. Unlimited beer and wine wrist bands will be available for $25 each.
Birthday Bash At Glazer Children's Museum
The Glazer Childrenβs Museum at 110 W. Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa, will celebrate its ninth birthday Sept. 28-29 with free admission, cake and birthday surprises Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
Tampa Bay Women's Expo
The Tampa Bay Womenβs Expo will take place Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Expo Hall at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301, Tampa.
The expo will feature exhibits, seminars and education on a wide range of women's interests.
Also taking place Saturday at the fairgrounds is the Fabulously Unique Natural Hair and Beauty Expo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Florida Center East. It will feature live entertainment and more than 50 vendors.
Over The Rainbow Grand Central Challenge
Kick off Coming Out Month at the Over the Rainbow Grand Central Challenge Saturday, Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grand Central District, St. Petersburg. Teams will compete to fulfill challenges at restaurants, bars and other businesses in the Grand Central Business District.
