USF St. Pete Schedules Fall Open House

ST. PETERSBURG – Want to benefit from the academics of a first-class university but avoid the crowds and anonymity of a large campus? USF St. Petersburg may be the answer.

USFSP, which offers a downtown waterfront campus, will host a half-day open house Nov. 5 to inform prospective students and their families about the university's programs. The open house is from 9 a.m. to noon.

Students serious about applying will have some additional benefits if they attend the open house:

• Students can apply for admission or complete their applications during Open House to receive assistance with their application.

• Students who submit completed applications by Nov. 5 will receive an accelerated admission decision by Thanksgiving.

 
High school students on their college search, current college students interested in transferring to USFSP and prospective graduate students can all learn about the university and its programs during Open House.

Registration is strongly encouraged for this free event and is available at usfsp.edu/openhouse.

The event includes information sessions with admissions counselors, financial aid counselors, campus tours, and a resource fair with professors from academic programs and representatives from student organizations.
