Virtual School Discovery Night Is Aug. 2
Pinellas Virtual School welcomes families to explore the options of full-time programs for elementary through high school students.

Pinellas County school officials will hold a Virtual School Discovery Night, on Tuesday, Aug. 2, to explain how the online offerings work.
St. Petersburg families are welcome to attend the session, which will be held at the Coachman Service Center, 2235 NE Coachman Rd., Clearwater.

Famiies will get a chance to meet the principal of the Virtual School and get a look at some of the courses. Parents also may register their children for the 2011-2012 school year.
Families with elementary school children should attend the session from 5-6 p.m.

A session for middle and high school students is from 6-7:3 p.m.
Pinellas Virtual School offers a 100 percent online learning experience for eligible students. Families are welcome to visit the Virtual School online at http://virtualschool.pcsb.org, or contact Patricia Lusher, director, academic computing, (727) 588-6304.
