Walmart Pulls Infant Formula After Baby's Death
The cans of Enfamil Newborn powder have been pulled from shelves at 3,000 Walmart stores.
Cans of Enfamil Newborn powder are being pulled from shelves at Walmart stores nationwide, after a baby in the Midwest became gravely ill and died after drinking the formula, CBS News reports.
The Missouri newborn is believed to have developed an infection from bacteria that may have been in the formula.
Manufacturer Mead Johnson Nutrition said that its records show that the bacterium was not in the batch of formula, and no government recall has been ordered.
