Walk-Offs Knot Standings in Senior Softball at North Shore Park

A Thanksgiving recess reduced Three-Quarter Century Softball action to a single game for the week. The four-team intraClub competition will resume November 29 with Tuesday and Thursday games beginning each day at 10 AM.

Two games played on Tuesday, November 22, resulted in one-run victories of the walk-off variety when the "Kits" erased a two-run deficit to win 11-10 over the "Kubs." Ivan Millette produced a two-run bases-loaded single to send the "Kubs" to their third straight defeat and boosted the" Kits"' record to 3-3

In the day's second game, Will Michaels drilled a walk-of single to cap off a four-run rally for a Kats victory over the Kids. The offensive show by the two teams resulted in 56 hits and 35 runs being scored. Winning the slugfest evened "Kats" record at 3-3.

If the pennant race were auto racing and not softball, NASCAR would call for a restart. Oh! It begins Tuesday, November 29, at 10 AM.
