Webster Powers "Ewald's Kubs" To Fourth Straight Win and 1st Place
Bret Valery threw six shutout innings for the "Kubs"
Joe Harrington’s walk-off single led “Hannah’s Kids” past Norton’s Kits” 11 to 10 on Tuesday, January 31, in first game action at North Shore Park.
The loss was the fourth straight for the “Kits” and dropped them to second place in the Three-Quarter Century Club’s IntraClub pennant chase
Pitcher Kaz Gora and Doug Righter posted 3-3 games for the winning “Kids.” Veterans and Ed Asay and Jerry Wollman do the same for the “Kits.”

“Ewald’s Kubs” took advantage of the first game loss by “Norton’s Kits” and pounded ‘Kutchinski’s Kats 11 to 1 on Larry Webster’s monster game, two singles, a triple, and a home run powered the fourth consecutive victory by the” Kubs” enabled them to regain first place for the first time since the second week of the TQC pennant competition.
