Woman Got Botox And Bolted, Cops Say
The St. Petersburg woman allegedly received costly treatments and then slipped out without paying.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL β A St. Petersburg woman stands accused of taking the old dine and dash scam to a whole new level. In her case, police say, she got botox and bolted.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, the case in question unfolded on Jan. 7 when Nicole Leigh Brown, 31, reported to Dr. William Adamsβ 2299 9th Ave. N. office to receive 37 units of Botox and Juvederm injections to reinvigorate her complexion.
Brown received those injections, valued at $870, police said. When it came time to pay up, she told office staff sheβd left her credit card in her vehicle, an email from the police department said. The problem was Brown hit the door and never turned back, police said.

As it turned out, that wasnβt the only time Brown allegedly went in for a day of beauty and then failed to pony up the cash. Police say Brown is accused of doing almost the same thing on Sept. 9, 2015, to Dr. Lawrence Kass. In that case, she received 32 units of injections valued at $902 at Kassβ 6025 4th St. N. office. Brown provided the doctorβs office with a check to cover the costs, but that check happened to bounce, police said.
