• Everglades Fires West of Parkland Now 60% Contained (tapinto.net) — Smoke from the Atlantic Fire in the Everglades is drifting toward northwest Broward, and Tamarac residents may notice haze and odor even though the blaze is 60% contained and burning away from homes. Tamarac Fire Rescue is helping monitor conditions, and people with breathing issues are urged to limit outdoor time while localized smoke lingers.
