• Tarpon Springs restricts e-bikes and more in some areas (baynews9.com) — Tarpon Springs has approved new rules banning e-bikes, regular bikes and scooters from sidewalks along parts of East Tarpon Avenue, Craig Park and Dodecanese Boulevard, requiring riders to walk or risk fines. Local business owners and a cycling shop support the change, citing safety on narrow, crowded sidewalks. Fines escalate from a warning or $50 up to $250 for repeat violations.
• Forensic experts testify about evidence in murder trial against Tarpon Springs plastic surgeon (tampabay28.com) — A Tarpon Springs plastic surgeon is on trial in Clearwater, where forensic experts described extensive blood evidence at a Largo law office and in the garage of his Tarpon Springs home. Investigators detailed cash, weapons and other items seized, plus a grueling landfill search for the missing attorney's remains. The bench trial continues Thursday morning with more testimony.
