Man In Critical Condition After Tarpon Springs Mobile Home Fire: Officials
The 73-year-old man and a dog were rescued from a mobile home fire, Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue said.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A 73-year-old man is in critical condition after he and a dog were rescued from a Thursday night mobile home fire in Tarpon Springs, officials said.
When firefighters with Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue responded to the blaze on River Village Drive around 9:35 p.m., they found heavy smoke, the agency wrote in a social media post.
The initial caller said a person was trapped inside the mobile home.

Firefighters went into the home and found the man on the living room couch, Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue said.
They got him out of the home and he was brought to Tampa General Hospital’s burn/trauma center in critical condition.

Crews put out the kitchen fire and rescued a dog found in the bedroom. The dog was treated at the scene and brought to an emergency vet by the Tarpon Springs Police Department.
Units from Palm Harbor, Oldsmar, East Lake and Sunstar Paramedics also responded to the fire.
The scene is being investigated by the Tarpon Springs Fire Marshal, the State Fire Marshal, and Tarpon Springs police.
