• Pinellas revamps plans for Tarpon Springs schools after parents protest (tampabay.com) — Tarpon Springs families are facing a major school shakeup as Pinellas County's superintendent now proposes turning Tarpon Springs Fundamental and Sunset Hills into two K-8 schools, while closing the tiny Fundamental campus. The change follows strong local pushback and would keep more middle schoolers in the city, ahead of a final School Board vote on October 13.

Bar League season running weekly from October 4 through December 10, with free team play and chances at cash, prizes, and casting auditions.
