Watch: Girl Plays 'Amazing Grace' At Slain Officer's Memorial
The child was visiting from Brazil when she stopped by the Tarpon Springs Police Department's headquarters.

The soulful strains of βAmazing Graceβ hung in the air at the makeshift memorial for fallen Tarpon Springs Police Officer Charles Kondek Monday.
The touching music came courtesy of 10-year-old Jacqueline Kurchinski, who was visiting the area from Brazil, MyFoxTampaBay reported on its YouTube page. The child, the station reported, felt βled to play at his memorial.β
She was joined by her sister, Carolyn, 9, who held flowers as her older sister played the tune on her violin.

Kondek was shot after getting out of that cruiser early Sunday morning. He was attempting to respond to a noise complaint call when the shooting occurred. Pinellas County Sheriffβs detectives say the officer fired back before falling to the ground. The shooter then fled the scene, but not before backing over him with his car.
Kondek passed away shortly after the incident at Florida Hospital North Pinellas.
Marco Antonio Parilla Jr., 23, now faces first-degree murder charges in the death of the veteran law enforcement officer who served about five years with the New York City Police Department before reporting for duty in Tarpon Springs more than 17 years ago.
Kondek leaves behind a wife, Teresa, and six children: Aleena, Brandon, Andrew, Charlie Jr., Holly and Tiffany, according to the sheriffβs office.
