Sunday, July 15, 2012 is National Ice Cream Day,
and for the fifth year Blue Bell Ice Cream will celebrate with guests at MOSI. From noon until 2 p.m., anyone who attends MOSI will be treated to hand-dipped Blue Bell Ice Cream, free with MOSI admission.
MOSI's InterActors will also demonstrate the Science of Freezing with a cryo freezing demonstration, using liquid nitrogen. The newest Blue Bell flavor, Summer Strawberry Pie Ice Cream, will be featured -- strawberry ice cream combined with sweetened strawberries, flaky piecrust pieces and a whipped topping swirl. Blue Bell's most popular ice cream, Homemade Vanilla, will also be served.
