Video: Busch Gardens' Newest Coaster Opens in 2016
The Cobra's Curse is being billed as a family thrill ride.

Visitors to Tampa Busch Gardens will soon have a new challenge to conquer, if they dare.
The Cobraβs Curse, a spin coaster that features a 70-foot vertical lift, has been announced for a 2016 opening in the parkβs Egypt area. Featuring an 80-foot snake icon, the βspin coasterβ will take riders on a trek over the parkβs Serengeti Plain while enabling them to βdiscover the mysteries of an Egyptian archaeological excavation,β a media release on the planned opening stated.

βThis isnβt your ordinary spin coaster,β Jim Dean, Busch Gardensβ president, said. βIn true Busch Gardens-style, weβre putting a twist on this attraction and taking riders on an unforgettable and exciting journey.β
