• Florida Troopers Break Up 100-Car I-75 Takeover, Arrest Four After 140-MPH Chase (tampafp.com) — A massive 100-car street takeover shut down northbound I-75 in Thonotosassa early Saturday, ending with a 140-mph chase and four arrests, according to state troopers. Florida Highway Patrol says a lime green BMW fled the blocked highway near mile marker 266, ran a red light off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, and was stopped in a nearby parking lot, with the driver and three passengers now facing charges under Florida’s street takeover law. 
• Dashcam captures chaotic Florida street takeover, troopers clear car blockade during high-speed BMW pursuit (knewz.com) — Newly released dashcam video shows troopers driving into a 100-car blockade on I-75 near mile marker 266 in Thonotosassa before chasing a green BMW that hit 140 mph. Four people were arrested and taken to Hillsborough County Jail, and investigators are now using cameras and social media to identify more drivers and spectators from the Thonotosassa takeover.
