• Men in recovery support each other after losing everything in fire at Valrico sober living home (fox13news.com) — A recent fire destroyed a Valrico sober living home, displacing about a dozen men in early recovery and wiping out most of their belongings. The operator, Seven Summit Pathways, has moved residents into temporary housing and is now seeking a new permanent home and financial support so these men can continue rebuilding their lives locally. 
• Ricky Sanchez, Dylan Lapointe, Gio Colasante and Ckyler Tengler Earn National Recognition From College Baseball Foundation (cbhalloffame.org) — Valrico gets a shout-out on the national college baseball stage as Mercer catcher Dylan LaPointe, listed from Valrico earns Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Week honors.
