VERO BEACH, FL. (October 5, 2026) – Scenthound, the original dog wellness brand, is officially debuting in Vero Beach at 1275 US Highway 1, Suite 2. The new Scenthound will celebrate its grand opening on October 7, inviting local dog owners to experience its preventive, membership-based approach to canine wellness.
The new Vero Beach Scenthound is owned and operated by seasoned entrepreneur, Tom Tuttle, who brings decades of franchise experience spanning from restaurant to retail industries, including more than 30 years in management roles. Inspired to take the next step in business ownership, Tuttle was drawn to Scenthound’s unique business model and mission-driven focus on routine dog care and overall canine wellness. With licenses secured for two additional locations, Tuttle plans to grow the Scenthound presence in the region and bring its innovative approach to more dog parents across Florida.
“Opening this Scenthound is a very exciting step for me after many years familiarizing myself with the franchise world,” said Tom Tuttle. “This is a great opportunity to introduce a much-needed, routine-based approach to dog care. The first location is just the beginning, and I look forward to expanding our presence and becoming a trusted resource for local dog parents.”
Scenthound uses a wellness-based approach to improve the quality of life for dogs. Embedded in the name, Scenthound focuses on five core areas of maintenance: Skin, Coat, Ears, Nails, and Teeth, or S.C.E.N.T. Team members are fully trained to provide routine hygiene and wellness care so dogs live longer, happier lives. With its proprietary S.C.E.N.T. Check® and a range of membership options, Scenthound is redefining dog care by focusing on prevention over reaction. The brand educates dog parents on routine hygiene and wellness while providing consistent care and 24/7 access to a veterinarian through its mobile app. All memberships include the “basic hygiene” package (including a bath, ear cleaning, nail clip, teeth brushing and six-point wellness check), and dog parents can purchase additional services as needed. Scenthound enriches the connection between people and their dogs as a trusted provider of dog hygiene and wellness care in Vero Beach.
