$5M Prize Claimed By Delaware Man: Florida Lottery
A Delaware man visiting South FL claimed a $5 million prize while playing the Gold Rush Unlimited scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said.
DELRAY BEACH, FL โ A Delaware man visiting South Florida claimed a $5 million prize while playing the Gold Rush Unlimited scratch-off game, according to a Florida Lottery news release.
Peter Sullivan, 66, of Millsboro chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3.96 million. He claimed his prize at the Florida Lotteryโs district office in West Palm Beach.
Sullivan bought his winning ticket from Publix at 1538 South Federal Highway in Delray Beach. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

Gold Rush Limited, a $20 scratch-off game, launched in September 2021 and features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. Additionally, the ticket has 33,000 prizes ranging from $1,000 to $100,000. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65
