Beth El Center for Jewish Life presents A Night in Havana centennial celebration on Oct. 11

Beth El Center for JewishLife will celebrate a century of community with A Night in Havana on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Katz Pavilion at Beth El Center for Jewish Life, 2815 N. Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. The fundraiser is open to thecommunity, and the public is invited to attend the festivities.

Guests will experience the spirit and vibrant culture of Havana through anevening filled with Latin flavors, kosher Cuban food, world-class music, dancing, an open bar, a silent auction, hand-rolled cigars, and more. Ratherthan a traditional seated dinner, the celebration will invite guests to mingle, enjoy food and drinks, dance, and experience the evening’s entertainment.

The event will feature music by Cuban-born international sensation Tomasito Cruz. A four-time Grammy Award-winning percussionist, singer, songwriter, and producer, Cruz brings unmatched energy, elegance, and rhythm to everystage.

The event is co-hosted by Ivy Faske, Jack Mayer, and Michael Cowan. Members of the Havana Nagila Committee include Rabbi Alan Bell, RebbetzinSusan Bell, Joanne Cass, Jill Weiss, Scott Levy, and Craig Bachove. Founded in 1926, Beth El Center for Jewish Life has served as a center ofJewish faith, learning, celebration, and community connection in West PalmBeach for 100 years. A Night in Havana will honor the organization’scentury-long legacy while raising funds to support its continued work and humanitarian relief for the people of Cuba.
