Body Found Floating In Lake In Boynton Beach: Sheriff
A resident of Ashley Lakes reported making the discovery at about 11:30 a.m., the West Palm Beach Sheriff's office said.
BOYNTON BEACH, NY — A body was found floating in a lake on the Ashley Lakes property on Thursday, the West Palm Beach County Sheriff's office said in a news release.
A resident of Ashley Lakes called the sheriff's dispatch to report seeing "a body floating in a lake" near Boynton Beach Boulevard and Military Trail, unincorporated Boynton Beachat about 11:30 a.m., the office said, adding that detectives are currently on scene investigating.
Once the body is removed from the water an investigator from the county Medical Examiner's office will conduct an examination, the sheriff's office said.

An autopsy is expected to be performed at a later time to determine the person's exact cause of death, according to the office.
