Boil Advisory Rescinded For Tamarind Area Neighborhoods Impacted By Water Main Break

After consultation with the Florida Department of Health and after two days of sampling, the City of West Palm Beach has rescinded the precautionary boil water advisory for Tamarind Ave. area neighborhoods. These customers should run their water for 5-10 minutes before resuming normal use. (These neighborhoods are located in close proximity to the break, which occurred Thursday night in the vicinity of Tamarind Avenue and 2nd Street.) A Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for most City of West Palm Beach Public Utilities water customers in West Palm Beach, Town of Palm Beach, and Town of South Palm Beach was lifted Sunday morning. Water service has been restored to ALL customers impacted by Thursday nightโ€™s 24-inch water main break.
