Child Care Scholarships Available For Eligible West Palm Beach Families

The funding is provided through the CARES Act.

West Palm Beach residents may be eligible for child care scholarships offered by Palm Beach County (PBC) funded through the CARES Act. Through its Youth Services and Early Learning Coalition, PBC is offering childcare scholarships for qualifying families with children currently enrolled in the School District of Palm Beach Countyโ€™s distance learning curriculum. The scholarships are offered only to students in grades K-5. Eligible West Palm Beach residents are encouraged to apply to this program.

These scholarships are financed through the Countyโ€™s CARES Act funding, designated for childcare services benefitting families facing financial difficulties as a result of COVID-19. This program will prioritize children who are homeless, members of families who work or attend school during the hours of the Countyโ€™s distance learning, or who live with a household income at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines.
