City Of West Palm Beach Business Resource Expo & Pitch Competition Scheduled For Sept. 25

WHO: Entrepreneurs, Owners of Small- and Minority-Owned Business Enterprises

WHAT: The City of West Palm Beach Office of Equal Opportunity, in partnership with the Alliance of Entrepreneur Resource Organizations (AERO), will present the 2nd Annual Business Resource Expo & Pitch Competition. This virtual event will help showcase the many (free and low cost) resources available to entrepreneurs and business owners in South Florida. Resources will include: education and training; financial resources; mentorship and consulting; and networking. The event’s keynote speaker will be James Amps, III who rose to national prominence by conveying his “message of action” to more than 550 corporate and professional audiences. AERO’s popular “Pitch Contest” returns, where prerecorded company pitches are awarded prizes based on merit and overall effectiveness. AERO, based in South Florida, is a coalition of public agencies and community non-profit organizations united to provide current and new businesses with resources to aid in their success. The City of West Palm Beach is a partner of the event.
